Repeat playback
If you are playing the HDD, press [HDD] first.
If you are playing a disc, press [DVD] first.

The selected repeat playback will start.
The following operations are available.
Title:
(Not available during Time shift playback)
The current title will be played back repeatedly.
(HDD and DVD)
Chapter:
(Not available during Time shift playback)
The current chapter will be played back
repeatedly. (HDD and DVD)
All:
The current disc will be played back repeatedly.
(DVD-RW (VR mode), Audio CD, Video CD, MP3,
JPEG and DivX
®
)
A-B:
The A-B point will be played back repeatedly.
(HDD, DVD, Audio CD, Video CD and DivX
®
)
1. Select “A-B” using
[Cursor

to set point “A”.
3. Press
[ENTER]
again to set the ending point
“B” after point “A” is set.
The A-B Repeat Setting is activated.
Track:
The current track will be played back repeatedly.
(Audio CD, Video CD, MP3, JPEG and DivX
®
)
Group:
The current group will be played back repeatedly.
(MP3 and DivX
®
)
Hint
• To cancel the repeat playback, select “Off” at step 3.
The repeat setting is also cancelled when you stop
playback.
Note
• You can only set A-B repeat playback within the
current title (for HDD and DVD) or current track (for
Audio CDs, Video CDs and discs with DivX
®
files).
• Group Repeat is not available during the Random
Playback.
• For some DivX
®
files, A - B Repeat playback may
not function.
• For Video CDs with PBC function, repeat playback
does not work while PBC function is on.
Random playback
You can use this function to play back a disc randomly
instead of recorded order.

In stop mode, press [SETUP].
“Easy Setting Menu” or “Advanced Menu” will
appear.

Select “CD” using [Cursor

then press [ENTER].

Select “Random Play” using
[Cursor

D
], then press [ENTER].
Random playback will start.
Hint
• To cancel random playback, press
[STOP

twice
during random playback.
• For Video CDs, if you select random playback with
the PBC function on, the PBC function will be turned
off automatically and random playback starts.
Note
• During random playback, if you forward the track to
the end, the playback speed of the next track will be
normal.
• During random playback, you cannot use the search
function except for the search with
[SKIP

/
F
]
.
By pressing

, you can return only to the
beginning of the current track.
