Installing the keyboard 

The following describes the procedure for installing the keyboard (See Figure 4-10 to 4-11). 

1.

 

Place the keyboard on the palm rest with its face down. Connect the 

keyboard cable

 

to the connector 

CN3200

 on the system board. 

2.

 

Install the 

keyboard support plate

 and secure it with the following 

screws

. 

•

Turn the 

keyboard

 face up and put it on the computer. Make sure that there is no 

space between the keyboard and the computer. 

4.

 

Secure the keyboard with the following 

screws.

Install the 

keyboard holder

 (the topside first) and press it to latch.
