4 Replacement Procedures

4.10 Touch pad

Removing the Touch pad

To remove the touch pad, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-14.

Remove the

touch pad

fixed with the

double-sided tape

on the cover FAT assembly.

Turn the

touch pad

and disconnect

touch pad cable

from the touch pad assembly.

Connector

Installing the Touch pad

To install the touch pad, follow the steps below and refer to Figure 4-14 and Figure 4-15.

Connect the

touch pad cable

to the connector on the touch pad.

Stick a new

double-sided tape

touch pad and install the

touch pad

in place.
