3. CHANGING INPUT DATA

The “registered box name” and “password” of the user box can be changed.

* You cannot change the folder name with the equipment. Change it with a client PC using the e-Filing web 

utility via network, if required. See the [e-Filing Guide] for details.

Press the [e-FILING] button on the control 
panel.

Select the box you want to change, and 
then press the [EDIT] button.

- Switch to the applicable menu using the [Prev] or the [Next] 

button.

- To display the applicable menu immediately, key in the number of 

the desired box you want to change.

Key in the “Password” (5 digits) for the 
selected box, and then press the [ENTER] 
button.

- If the password has not been set at the box registration, skip to 

step 4.

Change the data of the “BOX NAME” and 
the “Password”.

- When pressing the [BOX NAME] button, the letter entry menu 

("Setting Letters" 

 

 Page 30) is displayed. A box name can 

contain up to 32 letters.

- Key in the 5-digit identical number in both “Password” and 

“Retype Password”. Press the [SET] button after entering the 
password.
