Removing the ratings restriction
MUTE
To temporarily cancel the TV mode content
restriction:
1. Access the content you want to view.
2. On the warning message indicating the blocked
content, press MUTE .
3. Use the Number buttons (0-9) to key in your
password.
The content restriction will be temporarily disabled.
When the TV is turned off, when the channel is
changed, or when the input source is switched to
another, the content restriction will be reactivated.

Press MENU to display the Main Menu screen.
Press S or T to select “Lock”, then press X or
ENTER.

Press S or T to select “V-Chip Clear”, then
press X or ENTER.

Key in your 4-digit password using the
Number buttons (0-9), then press ENTER.

Key in your 4-digit password again, then press
ENTER.
This will clear all content restrictions and reset the
“V-Chip” setting to “Off”.

For movie programs, the rating level is based on the
viewer’s age.
G Suitable for all ages
PG Parental guidance suggested
PG-13 Parental guidance for pre-teen viewers
R May contain some adult material
NC-17 Not suitable for viewers age 17 and below
X Suitable for adult viewers only
TV operation
