Assembly
IMPORTANT: Do not connect extension cord
to mower until mower is fully assembled.
Also, to prevent someone from accidentally
starting the mower, always unplug extension
cord from household outlet when adding or
switching attachments.
Handles
1. Loosen knobs on mounting brackets (Fig. 2).
2. Position mounting brackets in a vertical position
so that holes face up.
3. Slide handle ends into holes in mounting
brackets until handle ends are completely seated
in brackets (Fig. 2).
4. Rotate handle and mounting brackets rearward
until brackets fit securely into housing pockets
(Fig. 3).
5. Tighten knobs until edges of slots on top of
mounting brackets touch.
Grass Bag Ramp
1. Snap three (3) tabs on grass bag ramp onto grass
bag frame (Fig. 4 & 5).
Discharge Tunnel Plug
1. Stop motor, unplug extension cord and wait for
all moving parts to stop.
2. Open discharge door and insert plug into
discharge tunnel opening (Fig. 6). Since the plug
is slightly wider than the discharge tunnel
opening, you must rotate the plug clockwise
slightly while inserting it.
3. Push plug all the way into the discharge tunnel
opening.
4. Lower discharge door over plug.
Before Starting
Secure Extension Cord
(Model 21050B only)
Use only an extension cord recommended for outdoor
use. Refer to Extension Cord Chart.
EXTENSION CORD CHART
If length of extension cord is
less than or equal to: 100 ft. 150 ft.
Assure wire size gauge
(A.W.G.) in cord is: 14 12
Note: Use of an extension cord over 150 feet
is not recommended.
