Installation Instructions:
1. Remove two-post ROPS from machine, if equipped. Save fasteners to re-use later.
2. Take the left rear bracket and position it where the 2-post ROPS was mounted. Use the
existing ROPS fasteners and loosely fasten the bracket into place.
3. Repeat for the right rear bracket.
4. Attach a lift strap or chain to the upper corners of the ROPS and prepare to lift the ROPS off
of the shipping pallet. Use an over head hoist or forklift the remove the ROPS from the
shipping pallet.
5. Lift the ROPS over the machine and slowly lower down until the rear isolators are touching
the mounting plates at the back. Use a 5/8” x 3 ½” hex bolt, heavy flat washer, and 5/8” flange
nut and start the two rear fasteners.
6. Use a ¾” x 2” hex bolt and lock washer for the front fastener at the front of the platform.
7. Once all bolts are started, torque all fasteners to the required specification. 5/8” isolator
fasteners to 200 ft-lbs, ¾” fasteners to 300 ft-lbs.
If ROPS has electrical options installed, proceed with the following steps.
8. Take red power and black ground wires that are at the bottom of the left rear tube and route
along the mounting bracket and into the engine bay. Connect the black ground wire to the
negative post on the battery. Connect the red power wire to the positive post on the battery.
