Drive Chain Idler Arm (GreensPro 1240)
Removing the Drive Chain Idler Arm
1. Park the machine on a clean, level surface with the transport wheels in the
raised and locked position. Shut off the engine. Engage the parking brake if
equipped, or remove the spark plug wire from the spark plug.
2. Remove the transmission cover from the machine; refer to
Transmission Cover (page 7–59)

3. Remove the hex nut (item 1 in
), spacer, and compression spring
from the idler adjustment rod.

4. Remove the bolt, flat washers, locknut, pivot bushing, and spacer that secure
the idler arm to the chassis, and remove the idler arm assembly (
