Keep part of the shank on each bolt exposed.

Place the machine on the ground, and ensure that
the front and rear rollers are parallel within 2 mm
(5/64 inch) across the length of the rollers by laying a
straightedge across the front of the rollers (Figure 12).

Adjust the steering rod lengths as necessary (Figure 13).

Note:

The steering rods have a turnbuckle design,

with 1 rod end having left-hand threads and the other
rod end having right-hand threads. To adjust each
steering rod, loosen the jam nuts, turn the threaded rod
in the appropriate direction, and then tighten the jam
nuts to secure the adjustment.
