For model 04590 machines, the SC8: Lithium-ion battery controller (BMS)

exists on the CAN bus. Each of the eight lithium-ion batteries communicates with
the BMS through a battery interface harness or sub-net. The BMS then forwards
the battery information to the rest of the machine via the CAN bus.
