Engine Maintenance
Servicing the Air Cleaner
Service Interval:
Every 25 hours—Clean and oil the air
cleaner foam element.
Every 100 hours/Yearly (whichever
comes first)—Replace the air cleaner
paper element. (Replace the air
cleaner more frequently if the
operating conditions are extremely
dusty or sandy.)
1. Disengage the blades (PTO).
2. Set the parking brake.
3. Stop the engine and wait for all moving parts to stop.
4. Remove the ignition key.
5. Open the hood.
