Note:
To raise the mower, move all 4 cutting height
levers forward; to lower the mower, move them all
rearward (Figure 12).

Adjusting the Handle Height
You may raise or lower the handle to a position
comfortable for you.
Rotate the handle lock, move the handle to one of three
positions, and lock the handle into position (Figure 13).

Starting the Engine
1. Push the ignition toggle switch to the On (“I”)
position (Figure 14).

2. Start the engine in one of 2 ways:
• Pull the recoil starter in the operating position
(Figure 15).
