These four headers are provided to facilitate incorporation of the USB I/O Expansion Board
into an embedded application in which the board may not be near enough to an external wall
to make use of the external connectors.
TB70 & TB71: auxiliary power input ports
These two 2-pin terminal blocks allow external or embedded connection to auxiliary power
supplies, one for the isolated inputs (TB70) and one for the 5V-24V supply that will bias the
general purpose outputs plus SPON and SPDIR (TB71).

Analog Input
Except for the analog inputs, all signal types that appear on the internal connectors have been
described in previous sections. The analog input pins are present only on the 50-pin header
labeled JP20 “COMBO”.
A single-channel analog-to-digital converter (ADC) receives two multiplexed input channels
at 10-bit resolution over a range of 0-10V (9.8 mV increments). Inputs over 10V should be
avoided. They are clipped to 10V by the input circuitry anyway. Anything over 12 VDC or
