5.2.2  Machine Requirements 

The Machine Interface Module (MIM) is designed to be mounted to the machine air conditioner 
plate. If the machine is not equipped with an air conditioner, additional Caterpillar parts must be 
purchased  to  supply  the  mounting  surface  for  the  MIM.  Refer  to  the  following  tables  for  parts 
and additional tools required to complete installation.
