- The element is packaged in sodium hypochlorite
solution (100mg/L) as the preservative at the time of
shipment. The preservative should be washed out
before using the element. After that, keep clean
water on the element to prevent the membranes
from drying out. Do not allow the element to dry even
for a few hours.
