On page 22, INSTALL THE COCKPIT AND CANOPY
The following instructions will show you how to assemble the
instrument panel before installing it in the fuselage.
o
1. Locate the plywood instrument panel, clear instrument
lenses and the two instrument decals.
o
2. Remove the backing from the instrument decal that has
the instrument faces missing. Attach the decal to the front
of the plywood instrument panel aligning the holes in the
plywood with the missing instrument faces.
o
3. Use a sharp hobby knife to cut out the openings for the
clear lenses. You can use a black marker or flat black paint to
cover any of the bare wood that is showing.
o
4. Attach the clear lenses to the back of the plywood
instrument panel by applying a couple of drops of medium
CA in the corners of the clear plastic. Do not get the CA close
to the lenses. The CA may cause the clear plastic to fog.
o
5. Use medium CA to glue the instrument decal with the
instrument faces to the back of the clear lenses.
