• The hedge trimmer cuts on both sides, which provides a high cutting power.
• For a uniform cut, it is advisable to use a guide. This enables, for example, the height of the hedge to be marked.
• To switch off the hedge trimmer after operation or in the event of danger, simply release the on/off switch (3) or the
safety switch on the bow handle (6).
• Replace the blade guard (9) after operation to prevent injuries caused by the blade.
8. Troubleshooting
No function, the hedge trimmer cannot be switched on:
• The mains plug is not connected to the extension cable correctly.
• The extension cable mains plug is not plugged into the mains socket correctly.
• The mains socket is switched off.
• The extension cable is defective. Please check carefully and replace if necessary.
• The hedge trimmer’s power cable is defective. Please check carefully and, if necessary, take the hedge trimmer to
a specialist for repair.
The blade (8) does not move:
• Switch the hedge trimmer off immediately and disconnect from the power supply.
• Check that there are no foreign bodies jammed in the blade (8).
• If necessary, remove foreign objects.
The hedge is not cut cleanly, the blade is getting stuck a lot or becomes hot:
• The blade is worn or damaged and should be sharpened by a specialist.
• The blade is not lubricated. Lubricate the cutting knife with oil.
