f) Other possible damage
ATTENTION!
Improper use may cause property damage in operation! Therefore, observe the following safety
notes:
• Do not point the device at one and the same spot for an extended period. Switch off the device for no
more than 30 seconds and let it cool off for at least 10 seconds then.
• When working with the device, consider that the heat emitted by the device may be conducted to
concealed, flammable materials and cause damage there.
• The device must not be left unsupervised while it is ready for operation.
• Keep all body parts, clothing, the extension cable, and other objects away from the heating element and
heat shield (including the conical nozzle). Do not touch any of the surfaces named before they have
cooled off entirely. There is a danger of burns!
• Always transport the device by the handle and only when the heat shield (including the conical nozzle)
has cooled off.
• Hold this electrical tool only by the insulated grip areas, since the heat shield (including the conical
nozzle) may come into contact with power lines (e.g. of a garden lamp) or its own extension cord and
may therefore become live. This would cause danger to life by electric shock!
• Keep the extension cable away from the heat shield (including conical nozzle).
• Wear suitable protective clothing and personal protection equipment (PPE), such as Safety shoes.
