d) Dangers of health
WARNING!
Danger to life from fire and / or explosion! Improper use of the device also poses danger to life!
Therefore, observe the following safety notes:
• Only use the device outdoors.
• Never use the device in the garage or in locations where petrol or easily flammable substances
may be stored.
• Never use the device near any easily flammable substances or gases.
• Never point the hot-air flow at any flammable objects (e.g. gas bottles). Keep away from sources
of ignition. No smoking. Keep the device out of the reach of children.
e) Danger of property damage
ATTENTION!
Improper use may cause property damage to the device! Therefore, observe the following safety
notes:
• Protect the device from extended exposure to sunlight and frost.
• Dry wood, foliage, fir needles and dry grasses may catch fire. Observe the treated plants for a
while after treatment. The plants may still ignite and thus cause a fire after a while. Fight figures,
if possible without danger to you, with an fire extinguisher.
