Compare Two Effects, Weed Out Tone Degrading Effects
Switch each effect in or out separately or step on both switches
at once to switch between them.

When you’re choosing an effect for your board, there’s no
better way determine how it compares to others! By the time
you’ve moved the cables around you’ll have already lost the
subtleties that separate one pedal from another.
Using the method outlined in figure 7 allows you to switch
between effects quickly enough that you’ll definitely hear the
differences! This method will really allow you directly compare
and make your decision wisely – Its very revealing when you
compare in an instant.
You can
weed out signal degrading effects
using this same
method – compare your tone before and after switching the
effect into your signal path with the effect OFF.
