NOTE: Some fan blades are thicker than
others and require longer screws. If a
bag of screws and washers is supplied
with the TB500 Series Blades (purchased
separately) you are installing, use these
screws in place of the screws supplied
with the fan.

11.
Turn the fan motor and housing assembly
upside down in preparation for mounting
the fan blades assemblies.
12.
Use the 10 round recessed holes in the
motor hub that are marked with a “5”
and install the five blade assemblies in
accordance with steps 13 through 15. The
switch housing has a slot to allow easy
access when tightening the flange screws.
13.
Insert two 10-32 x 3/4” oval head screws
(supplied) into the recessed holes in one of
the blade flanges.
14.
Align two of the round recessed holes in
the motor hub with the slot in the switch
housing (Figure 6). Position the blade
flange on the motor hub so that the
screws in the blade flange align with the
two round recessed holes in the motor
hub. Loosely tighten the screws at this
time. Then install the four remaining
blade assemblies in the same way.
To reduce the risk of personal injury, do
not bend the blade flanges when installing
the flanges, balancing the blades, or clean-
ing the fan. Do not insert foreign objects
between rotating fan blades.
!
WARNING
15.
Gently snug all flange screws to the motor
hub, working around the hub in a
clockwise sequence. Next, securely
tighten all flange screws, again working in
a clockwise sequence. Failure to follow
this procedure could result in fan wobble.
This completes the blade installation.
16.
Pass the end of the longest pull chain
through one of the bushings in the switch
housing cover (Figure 7). Slip the pull
chain through the hole in the hibiscus
pendant (supplied). Then secure the
pendant by snapping the coupling
(supplied) onto the end of the chain.
17.
Pass the end of the shortest pull chain
through the other bushing in the switch
housing cover. Secure the bell pendant
(supplied) to this chain in the same
manner as above.
