OPERATION
(Using the fuel tank mounted on
the boat)
1. Remove the hose plug from the
outboard motor side fuel hose.
Insert the fuel hose joint into the
outboard motor side fuel hose and
secure it with the hose clamp
2. Insert another fuel hose joint up to
the barb of the joint in the fuel tank
side and secure it with the hose
clamp (stainless steel type). Refer
to the owner’s manual for the boat.
FUEL PRIMING
If you are using a portable fuel tank,
turn the portable fuel tank vent knob
counterclockwise to the open
position.
Hold the priming bulb up in the
direction of the arrow; then squeeze
the priming bulb several times until it
feels firm, indicating that fuel has
reached the engine.
Check to be sure there are no fuel
leaks before starting the engine.
Do not touch the priming bulb with
the engine running or when tilting up
the outboard motor. The vapor
separator could overflow.
