Disassembly / Reassembly of the Lock Release Valve

LRV Cap
Remove with a socket
wrench
Coat threads with anti-seize; consult the table of
tightening torques and tighten to the proper torque
Packing Holder
Nut
Remove with a socket
wrench
Coat threads with anti-seize; consult the table of
tightening torques and tighten to the proper torque
LRV Body
Remove with a socket
wrench
Coat threads with anti-seize; consult the table of
tightening torques and tighten to the proper torque
LRV Body
Gasket
Remove and clean all
sealing surfaces
Replace with a new gasket if warped or damaged
LRV Stem
Unscrew relief valve
stem from the body;
remove packing
Coat the lock release valve stem threads with anti-
seize and screw into the lock release valve body;
replace the packing with a new; do not apply anti-
seize to the V-ring packing; insert into the relief valve
body after screwing in the lock release valve stem
V-ring Packing
LRV Seat
Remove with a socket
wrench
Coat threads with anti-seize; consult the table of
tightening torques and tighten to the proper torque
LRV Seat
Gasket
Remove
Replace with a new gasket if warped or damaged
