4.4 Connecting the Remote Version

Warning!

•

Ground the remote version and in doing so connect the sensor and

transmitter to the same potential equalization.

•

When using the remote version, always make sure that you connect the

sensor only to the transmitter with the same serial number. If this is not
observed when connecting the devices, incorrect measurements may be
displayed.

Connecting the sensor connection housing

1. Loosen the securing clamp of the transmitter housing.
2. Unscrew the housing cover.

3. Guide the connecting cable through the cable entry and into the connection

housing (if using a connecting cable without an M12 device plug, use the
shorter stripped end of the connecting cable).

4. Wire the connecting cable:

Terminal 1 = brown cable
Terminal 2 = white cable
Terminal 3 = yellow cable
Terminal 4 = green cable

5. Correct the cable shield via the cable strain relief.
6. Screw the housing cover back onto the transmitter housing, then reposition

the securing clamp and tighten.
