Fitness Watches like TRAQ are intended to be tools to provide you with information on your training
performance and to encourage an active and healthy lifestyle. TRAQ relies on sensors that track your
movement and other metrics. The data and information provided by these devices are intended to be a
close estimation of your activity and metrics tracked, but may not be completely accurate, including the
steps, distance, strokes and calorie data.
Note - Accurate user data (height, weight, gender and age) information improves the accuracy of the
algorithms that process the activity data
Some activities may cause frequent arm movement resulting in the device recording
too many steps, like:
• Driving a vehicle (usually due to rough terrain)
• A restless night of sleep
There are also instances where a lack of arm movement may result in a loss of steps while you are
walking, like:
• Pushing a stroller or shopping cart
• Carrying a bag of groceries or child
• Talking on phone and walking
Heart rate can be measured accurately only if the watch is secured properly on the wrist. If the watch is
fastened loosely or if the sensor is not in proper contact, there could be erroneous readings / random
values and such values should not be interpreted or analysed.
TRAQ is not a medical device, and the data provided by it is not intended to be utilized for medical
purposes and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. We recommend you
consult your doctor before engaging in any exercise routine
