Type 2:
Device with Diagnostics Cable (Requires OBD/JBUS Y Cable)
1) Unclip/unscrew vehicle OBD/JBUS port from the factory mounted position.
2) Plug the male end of the Y-Cable to the unmounted vehicle OBDII/JBUS port.
3) Mount female OBDII/JBUS end of the Y-Cable to factory mounting position.
4) Plug the Camera OBDII connector into the Y-Cable and secure all wiring in a hidden location.
Type 3:
Device Only (Direct to OBD Port)
1) Plug Camera OBDII connector into the factory OBDII connector
2) Secure all wiring.
STEP 5
CALL TO TEST
IMPORTANT: Camera must be tested to ensure proper camera angle and set up.
-Adjustments to the angle of the camera may be needed. Be sure to have the necessary tools to
adjust the angle.
STEP 6
ADMINISTRATIVE
Give any extra parts (bolts, 3M etc) to the fleet owner/administrator.
