STEP 4
COMPLETE WIRING FOR REQUIRED INSTALL TYPE
The TT8900AiCam can be installed in several ways depending upon your requirements. Please see
the wiring details below for each type. The included Window Mount Kit includes a panel pry tool and
zip ties to help with this process.
a)
Run the wire from the camera through the headliner and down the A-pillar
-Ensure the wire is fully hidden and cannot move from its position
-Use included panel pry tool
b) Route and Complete additional cable connections
Type 1:
Device with Hardwired Connection (Requires OBD Adapter Cable)
i)
Plug OBD Adapter Cable into OBD Camera Cable
ii) Connect Constant Power
-Device requires a minimum 12v constant (Battery Power) on this line to function.
-DO NOT remove/bypass the fuse
-Connect the Red wire of the OBD Adapter Cable to this constant source
iii) Connect Ground
-For best results, create a new connection to bare-metal chassis ground
-Do not use a shared ground or supplied ground from any other module or device
-Connect the Black wire of the OBD Adapter Cable to this ground
