Configuration Using the Web Browser
Establishing a Configuration Environment
Before accessing the Web configuration page, proceed as follows to establish a configuration
environment and obtain tiptel VP 28's IP address.
Prepare a PC that meets the following requirements:
Installs Ethernet adapters and supports TCP/IP.
Runs the Window 98 or later operating system.
Installs a Web browser such as Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or later,
Firefox, or Google Chrome.
Supports the resolution 800 x 600 or higher.
Press the <OK> key in the standby state to obtain the IP address.
Connect tiptel VP 28 and the PC to the same network where they can communicate with each
other.
You can connect tiptel VP 28 and the PC to a Hub or a switch. If there is
no Hub or switch, connect the PC to the PC port on tiptel VP 28.
Accessing the Web Configuration Page
To access the Web configuration page, proceed as follows:
Step 1
Start the Web browser on the PC.
Step 2
Enter the tiptel VP 28's IP address in the address box, and press Enter.
Step 3
Enter the user name and password (both
admin
by default) and click
OK

Figure 6-1.

Status: displays information about tiptel VP 28's network status and firmware hardware
versions.
