3 Prolonged pressing is used to enable Silent
mode. Press twice to enter the "+" sign. Also
used to enter special characters in text entries.
4 Up and
down
arrows
Navigation within menus. Access to the Main
menu in standby (up button) and the contact list
(down button). Disabling of the keypad lock by
pressing the up arrow and then the down arrow.
5 Hang up
button Used to end calls, to reject calls whilst the phone
is ringing, to switch the phone on and off with
prolonged pressing and to confirm displays in the
bottom right of the screen.
6 Used to switch between input methods in text en-
tries.
7 Used to enter spaces in text entries.
Controls on the back
The emergency button and the loud-
speaker are on the back.
Pressing the emergency button for about
2 seconds activates the emergency call
function. Please refer to the "Emergency call" section for a descrip-
tion of this function.
