2 Registering the handsets
The handsets need to be registered on the tiptel easyBASE 28 plus
before they can be used.
Please note that no more than 8 handsets can be registered on the
tiptel easyBASE 28 plus.
Proceed as follows to register the handsets:
1. Connect the AC adapter to your tiptel easyBASE 28 plus. Insert
the AC adapter into a mains socket.
2. During the registration process, the handset should be located
close to the tiptel easyBASE 28 plus or the connected aerial.
3. Start the registration procedure on the tiptel easyBASE 28 plus by
pressing the register button until the LED starts flashing.
4. Start the registration procedure on your handset. This process is
described in the operating instructions for your handset or your
tiptel easyBOX 300/5000. Use 0000 as the PIN or access code
(AC).
5. The registration process is complete when the LED is off. The
handset is automatically assigned the next free internal phone
number (from 1-8). If the registration process has not been
successfully completed within around 1 minute, repeat the
process.
6. To register further handsets, repeat steps 2-5.
