If the saw doesn’t complete a stroke, try the following:
• Increase the working air pressure ( pg. 25 ).
• Increase the stroke speed ( pg. 25 ).
• Lower the height of the upper limit switch ( pg. 26 ).
If the stroke slows when material is present, try the following:
• Replace or sharpen the saw blade.
• Reduce the standard stroke speed (
pg. 25 ).
• Increase the working air pressure ( pg. 25 ).
• Increase the belt tension ( pg. 44 ).
If the cut quality is poor, try the following:
• Replace or sharpen the saw blade.
• Reduce the stroke speed (
pg. 25 ).
• Check fence alignment.
• Use appropriate blade type.
Saw Stroke and Cut Quality
Kill Line Tension
The blue button on the kill line switch (below, left) should lock into place when pulled out.
If the blue button on the kill line switch won’t lock into place, adjust the kill line tension with the nuts on the tension plate eye
bolt (below, right).
Proper tension is indicated by the black tab and the green circle on the kill line switch (below, left). The black tab should rest
near the center of the green circle.
Troubleshooting
4. Press to begin the test, and wait for the results.
5. The I/O test is passed if the “Bad Pins” field is empty.
• Failure to unplug the I/O cable can cause false negative results
(e.g. bad pin 2).
• Machines enabled for TigerMeasure can show a false bad pin 3.
• Machines enabled for crayon defecting can show false bad pins 2 and 3.
