MENU –
Press this button to make the menu bar appear at the bottom of the screen,
or to bring up separate menus within the Stuff inventory.
BACK –
Press this button to exit out of an option you have selected.
ON/OFF –
Slide to turn the unit on and off.
FLIP-UP DOOR –
Open door to connect a handheld Giga Pets game (sold separately).

Explore the vast virtual universe of Giga Island with your favorite pet! Complete
quests to advance to mysterious locked worlds, and make friends that can
provide information and gifts. Discover the secret that lies buried within Magma
Mountain.
How to Play
Make sure your game unit is ON. The Main Menu should appear.
Main Menu
New Game –
Start a new game. Choose a pooch, panda, or monkey from the pet
shop, give it a name, and select its home.
Load Game –
Choose one of three saved games to continue. (Games save
automatically once you have chosen a home for your pet.)
Options –
Music –
Turn the music ON or OFF.
Volume –
Adjust the volume level between 0 (silent) and 100 (loud).
Tutorial –
Turn the gameplay hint windows ON or OFF.
Pet Personalities
When you highlight a pet at the pet shop, you’ll see its personality icons. In the
game, you will also collect these icons to shape the character of your pet:
Halos = Good
Pitchforks = Bad
Lightbulbs = Smart
Stars = Cute
