Mounting of machine in machine room
Mounting
In the as-delivered condition the machine DAF330 is completely mounted on a
machine frame and aligned (incl. rope pulley in the case of douple wrap).
Dependent on the customer requirements the frame is mounted on the
machine room floor or is casted directly in plaster floor.
In order to better comply with the requirements concerning noise reduction /
structure-borne noise transmission insert the insulation elements delivered
between frame support and floor. Dependent on the way of mounting there
are different insulation elements:
a)
Rubber block 100 x 100 x 50 high without base
To be used for mounting the machine on the machine room without plaster
floor or directly on the plaster floor.
b)
Rubber block like a) but with additional base 140 x 140 x 80 mm high, for
mounting the machine on plaster floor, base casted in plaster floor.
(coating thickness
≤
60 mm). The base part shall also be cast.
The number of rubber elements depends on the overall weight load. The
individual rubber elements should be loaded between 7000 and 12 000 N /
rubber element.
On arranging the rubber elements observe that the overall gravity centre
shall lie within the rubber elements.
For versions and dimensions of machine frame see chapter 2.12.
Aligning of machine frame
Place the machine in accordance with the layout drawing. Align the rope
departure of traction sheave and deflection pulley acc. to the drawing so that
it is in vertical line with the car rope pulley resp. with the counterweight
pulley. If the ropes are tensioned the machine shall be horizontally aligned
and mounted on its supporting surface on the rubber elements. Level uneven
position by placing metal or wooden plates underneath.
Rope arrangement:
the extreme outer rope from the car rope pulley shall be
arranged in the 1. groove of the traction sheave (on the brake disk side) if all
grooves of the traction sheave are reserved.
Aligning the machine on the frame:
the machine shall be aligned on the
frame in such a way that the axles of traction sheave and rope pulley are
aligned exactly parallely. The lateral position of the rope grooves shall be
offset by half groove distance (7 mm). See to it that the parallel distance
(ASL) of the departing ropes is observed.
Adjustment:
the position of the axles or the distance can be changed by
unscrewing the fastening screws of the machine on the frame and re-
adjusting the lateral stop screws on the machine base.
Note:
tighten the fastening screws with the pre-set torque after finishing the
adjusting work. See 9.1.
