The Thunder 30A Battery Management System comes with a Bluetooth LCD interface
screen, allowing you to have a better visibility of your batteries health and charging
inputs. You can now monitor the health and usage of your battery allowing you to
know what is charging your batteries and how long you have left until they are flat,
At a glance you can tell if you need to start the generator or move the Solar to ensure
you get the maximum input to your batteries. A lithium charging profile has been
added so you can decide what battery system you would like to run. If there is a fault
with the auxiliary battery the LCD screen will show a fault symbol to let you know it
has found an issue.
The LCD screen is wirelessly paired with the TDR02026 using Bluetooth technology.
The LCD screen can either be attached to the TDR02026 main unit or be remotely
installed at a suitable location. The distance can be 8- 10m away from the main unit
and must have a 12V power supply.
The LCD screen has a light sensor in the top so when it senses the light reducing, the
brightness of the display will also be reduced by 30%.
When the main LCD screen is removed and installed in a remote location of your
choosing, you can use the spare empty LCD case to install onto the main body of the
unit where the original LCD screen was kept to keep the unit tidy.
Supplied with the unit are 2 types of power lead for the LCD display:
• 1 x 0.3M direct connection cable – a 0.3M cable can be pulled out from the LCD
screen which can be directly connected to the TDR02026 main unit and moved
0.3m from the main unit without requiring any 12V power, used in applications that
do not have a separate power source convenient to power the LCD.
• 1 x 1.7m power cord – used to install the LCD screen at a suitable location and
connect a 12V power source from ignition power or battery positive.
Note:
Do not mount the LCD screen in direct sunlight. Doing so will cause damage
to the screen.
