Do no push knife blade down forcefully onto knife sharpener.
CAUTION

Before use, make sure your work area is clean, dry and flat. Always exercise caution when using knives
in any manner. Sharp and even dull knives can cause serious injury. Always make sure any fingers or
body parts are out of the blade's path as you use the knife sharpener. Always clean the knife's blade
before and after using the knife sharpener. Not for use with ceramic blades.

Wiping knife across fingers to gauge sharpness may result in unintended cuts and injury. To determine
if knife is sharp, use on test material. Do not use fingers.

Keep fingers away from blade during sharpening. Handle sharpened knives with care to avoid cutting
yourself or others and causing injury.
BEFORE USE
Before using knife sharpener, make sure the side with the sharpening arms is facing you. (Figure A).

To prevent the knife sharpener from becoming unstable and causing potential injury, hold the sharpener steady
with you other hand, taking care to keep steadying hand away from knife blade. (Figure B)
