1.0 INTRODUCTION
1.1 Safety instructions
DO NOT INSTALL YOUR TERMINAL:
• In a cramped or insufficiently ventilated cabinet, directly on or under another appliance, or
even on a surface which could obstruct the ventilation openings.
DO NOT EXPOSE THE TERMINAL AND ITS ACCESSORIES:
• To direct sunlight, heat from a heater, rain or high humidity, strong vibrations or shocks which
could damage it in a way. irremediable, nor to magnetic objects such as loudspeakers,
transformers, etc.
• Do not use a damaged power cord; you could cause a fire or electric shock. Do not
touch the power cord with wet hands as this may cause an electric shock.
• Never open the hood. The interior of the device contains high voltages which may present a
risk of electric shock. The warranty is void if the device is opened.
• If the device is not to be used for a long period of time, disconnect it from the mains.
• Do not clean the device with alcohol or ammonia detergent. If necessary, clean the device with a
soft, clean cloth moistened with soapy water after disconnecting it from the mains. Take care
that nothing enters the ventilation openings to avoid causing fire or electric shock.
• Do not place anything on top of the device so as not to block the ventilation openings
and cause components to overheat.
Safety instructions
• Do not open the cover of the device, otherwise you may be exposed to electric shocks and
void the warranty. Only entrust the servicing and maintenance of the device to qualified
personnel. • When connecting the cables, make sure that the device is unplugged. Wait a few
seconds after stopping the terminal to move it or disconnect equipment. • Use only cables and
extension cords that are compatible with the power absorbed by the device. Check that the
mains supply corresponds to the voltage indicated on the nameplate on the back of the device.
