General Controls
1. FUNCTION/ STANDBY
- Turns the unit On/Off;
selects between CD mode and Radio mode.
2. CD/OPEN -
Opens CD compartment door.
3 MODE
- Selects among different
Radio modes (Preset Add / Stereo (FM only) / Auto
Preset (FM only));
MP3 modes (Repeat / Shuffle (Mix for TM9258U) /
Intro / Folder) and
CD modes (Repeat / Intro / Shuffle (Mix for TM9258U)/
Program).
4. BAND
- Selects between FM and AM radio bands
(FM, MW and LW for TM9258U).
5. PRESET/MENU
/ - Increase or decrease
in preset location for radio; works as an up and down
navigation key in all menus.
6. CLOCK
- Enters clock and timer setting mode; dis-
plays clock time.
7. VOL. +/-
- Increases or decreases volume.
8. DBBS / E.Q. MODE
- Turns on/off digital bass boost
system; selects among different E.Q. options (Flat,
Rock, Pop, Classic, Jazz or Custom)
9. STOP / HOME
- Stops CD and MP3 play-
back; returns to home directory in MP3 and Smart
Trax navigation.
10. TUNE DOWN/BACK
- Goes back to previ-
ous CD or MP3 tracks; tunes down in radio frequency;
return to the previous menu.
11. PLAY/PAUSE
- Plays and pauses CD and
MP3 playback.
12. TUNE UP/NEXT
- Goes to next CD or MP3
tracks; tunes up in radio frequency; enters the next
menu.
13. SELECT
- Selects among different options within
categories.
14. CLOSE -
Push down to lock the CD compartment
door in place.
15. PHONES
(on the back of the unit) -
Connects headphones.
