Transform Engine Menus

 

Field

 interpolation disables motion detection and forces the creation of all 

new pixels from only one field (the other field’s pixels are ignored in the 
interpolation). This minimizes motion artifacts, but the entire resulting 
image will have a lower vertical resolution. 

Interpolation Path

The path controls on this menu only apply to 

Adaptive

 interpolation, and 

operate the same as the path controls on the Transform Engine menu. 

Drop Shadow Menu

Kalypso Classic and Kalypso HD/Duo systems have slightly different 
Drop Shadow menus. The Drop Shadow menu on either system is accessed 
by touching

Drop Shadow Controls

The Drop Shadow feature is turned on with the 

Drop Shadow

 button in the 

Drop Shadow pane. When turned on, soft knob controls become available 
on the right. Different soft knob controls appear, depending on which data 
pad has been selected in that pane. The current parameter names and 
values are displayed on each data pad.
