our DMR in TV mode
To take full advantage of the TV functions and TV program recording features, your
DMR must be used as if it were at the centre of your TV setup. The connection shown on
page 8 will allow you to do this. Consider your DMR as a television set without a screen
and your TV set as a screen only. The channels will therefore have to be selected from
the DMR and its remote control.
Choosing TV channels
In the
Main Menu
select
Channels
and press
ok
to validate.
ð
The last channel watched appears along with an information banner which disappears a
few seconds later. To display it again, press the yellow
info
key.
Putting the television on pause (PAUSE LIVE TV)
Your DMR allows you to answer the phone without missing a single moment of the TV
program you were watching. All you have to do is press
PAUSE
.
ð
The program is frozen. You have 45 minutes of program recording at your disposal. After
that time, the recording continues but the first minutes will be erased to make room for
the subsequent minutes.
To resume watching the program where you had left off, press
PLAY
.
ð
From that moment, the program is watched in delayed viewing. To watch the program in
real time, press
LIVE
.

With some TVs, video from your DMR takes priority and is displayed on the screen. In this case, you can
no longer change channels on the TV, either by using your DMR’s remote control unit set to the TV
position (by pressing the
key) or by using the TV’s remote control unit. You can therefore no longer
record one channel’s programmes on the hard disk of your DMR while watching another channel on the
TV (
