Cleaning, Maintenance, and Repair
Cleaning, Care Instructions, and Disinfection on a Daily Basis
Padding
The padding can be easily removed in a few simple steps and washed separately. The padding consists of a fabric cover
and sometimes fillers made of foam. Check if the padding has a zipper or a hook and latch fastener. If it does, open the
padding and remove the foam filler before washing the cover. Please also note the following care instructions.
We would like to point out that even high-quality materials can fade as a result of long and intense exposure to sunlight
or frequent washing.
When changing users, an “upholstery set for reuse” is offered by the manufacturer.
Hook and Loop Fasteners
To keep the hook and loop fasteners working well, clean them now and then with a brush. Always close or cover the
hook and loop fasteners before washing.
Plastic Parts
The plastic parts on the product can be cleaned and disinfected with standard soap (neutral soap).
Metal Parts
The metal parts on the product can be cleaned and disinfected with standard soap (neutral soap).
Disinfection
Clean the padding, plastic parts, and metal parts before disinfecting.
Damp wipe all the plastic and metal parts on the product with disinfectant. Only water-based products should be used.
When disinfecting note the directions from the manufacturer in question.
The padding and the covers have to be disinfected before reusing. To do so use the right detergent in keeping with the
guidelines of the Association of Applied Hygiene VAH (Verbund für Angewandte Hygiene e.V.) or use a “padding set for
reuse” offered by the manufacturer.
