What to do if…
If, contrary to expectations, your THOMAS TWIN does not function to your satisfaction, first check whether the malfunction is being caused by a
minor matter before taking up contact with customer service.

The appliance will not start
– Are the power cord, plug and socket intact?

Spray extraction
The suction force suddenly diminishes
– Is the dirty water tank full (float has responded)?

Empty it.
– Is the appliance at a slant (float has responded)?

Place the appliance in a level position and switch it off then on.
Water is coming out of the exhaust
openings
– Is the float in the dirty water tank soiled and stuck, meaning it can no longer respond when the
tank is full?

Clean the float and the hinge
– Are the anti-sloshing insert and wet filter inserted in the dirty water tank?

Switch off the appliance immediately and dry it, install any missing parts

Place the nozzle in lukewarm water for a while and then blow it out
– Is the tank connection duct clogged?

Take out the clean water tank and use the crevice
nozzle to thoroughly vacuum any dirt from the tank connection duct (between the clean water
tank and the housing)
Excessive residual moisture, cleaning
fluid is not being properly extracted
– Is the mechanical suction power control on the handle open?

Close the sliding button on the handle
– Is the nozzle properly upright on the floor?

Hold the nozzle slightly more upright for
vacuuming
