Charge the batteries completely after each use and before extended storage. VRLA bat‐

teries may be permanently damaged due to storage in discharged or partly discharged

condition.

Storing the batteries up to six months allows to use them again directly. During extended

storage periods (max. 12 to 18 months), the batteries should be recharged to avoid perma‐

nent damage due to deep self-discharge.
