Positioning and replacement of the cartridge
(Procedure to be followed also for the starting of the kit)

It is suggested that this procedure is always carried out
with hand hygiene protection through the use of
disposable gloves (procedure to be followed also in
making up the kit).

In order to ensure the correct conditions of use and
performance of the system described as guaranteed Only
use ORIGINAL SPARE CARTRIDGES.

When replacing the cartridge, you may experience a small
leak or dripping water. It is advisable to use some rags or a
small container to be placed under the cartridge.
1.
Turn off the water plug valve and turn on the tap on the sink to
release pressure from the system.
2.
Rotate 90° (1/4 spin) towards left the turn-‐off cartridge, and remove
it by pulling it down.
3.
Remove the protective cap from the new cartridge.
4.
Record the date of installation of the new cartridge in the proper
space.
5.
Insert the new cartridge without forcing it in any way, making sure
to fit the fins in their proper seats in the head and rotate it 90°
towards right until the block, without forcing.

To facilitate the fitting, you can slightly moisten with water
or cooking oil the seals on the cartridge.
The removed cap can be used to seal the turn-‐off cartridge
.

Turn on the water plug valve, turn on the tap and supply water for
at least 3 minutes to activate the new cartridge
Positioning and replacement of the battery

While positioning the new battery pay attention to the
polarity, as shown in the picture.
AN EVENTUAL REVERSAL OF POLARITY WILL DETERMINE A
PREMATURE EXHAUSTION.
1.
Remove the timer from its slot on the knob, taking note of the
exact orientation of assembly.
2.
Insert the CR2032 battery with the positive pole upward.
3.
The BLUE led lights for first, followed by RED one, indicating the
operation time reset of the filter.
4.
Insert the complete electronic timer in the tap’s knob.
Normal use
For normal use, to supply water turn on the tap by putting the lever in
horizontal position. The blue led indicator flashes.
To turn off the tap, turn the lever in vertical position.
If, with turned on tap the red led flashes, it’s necessary to replace the
cartridge and the battery, and so resetting the operation hours.
With flashing red led or with leds off during supply, there
is no guarantee for the quality of filtered water and use of
such water is not suggested.

Extended unuse

Before any extended unuse, it is recommended to turn off the water plug
valve and release the pressure from the system by turning on the tap for 3
seconds.
-‐In case of unuse of the equipment for more than 6 hours, for example
during the night, it’s recommended not to drink water supplied in the first
20 seconds.

If the inactivity period exceeds 2 days, do not drink water supplied in the
first 60 seconds, just letting it flow.
-‐ The disinfection is recommended after any extended unuse, longer than
10 days (page 7).
