The IC Recorder can be connected to a computer USB Port and treated as an
external storage device, just as a thumb drive is used. This allows you to transfer
files to your computer quickly and easily.
The files on the Sony ICD-UX71/81 are recorded using MP3 format. If you set the
recording quality to SP, the bit rate is sufficiently high that sound quality will be
suited to recording body sounds.
