DXRxi User Guide

Thermo Scientific

Reflected Light Fixed Polarizer Attachment

The reflected light fixed polarizer includes a small bar and handle that can be used to connect
it to the configurable

polarization analyzer

if one is used. This allows the two to be clamped

together for easier positioning into and out of the sample beam.

Installing the Transmitted Light Fixed Polarizer

The fixed polarizer for the optional

transmitted light illuminator

sends polarized light to the

sample when the transmitted light illuminator is in use. It can be used with the optional
configurable

polarization analyzer

to capture any change in polarization that is due to the state

of the light interacting with the sample.
