 To use the transmitted light fixed polarizer
Use the handle to gently push the polarizer all the way back and then slowly draw it forward
until you feel the first click, second click and third click. The three positions are described
below.
Installing a Polarization Analyzer
Two polarization analyzers are available for the microscope (configurable and fixed). The
polarization analyzers can be used along with the fixed polarizers to capture any change in
polarization that is due to the sample.
The configurable polarization analyzer can be used with the fixed reflected light polarizer and
the fixed transmitted light polarizer .

The fixed polarization analyzer works only with the fixed reflected light polarizer.
