6.1 Trouble shooting table
Fault Cause Solution Action
The heater is not
functioning. 1 The heater has no voltage. Check the electrical con- nection. User
2 Defect in the operating panel. Repair or replace the operating
panel.

3 Phase - exchange the ZERO wires in a 5-
pole connector/ female connector.
Repair the connection. User
4 Internal fuse (2A) faulty. (VTB
9000/15000)
Replace the fuse. Dealer
The fan does not turn
and there is no heat. 5 The thermostat is set to a too low
temperature.
Correct the settings. User
6 Fuse is faulty in your sys- tem. Replace the fuse. (Make sure it is
tight.)

7 Fan motor is broken. Replace the fan motor. Dealer
The fan does not turn
but the heater does
heat up.
8 Fuse is faulty in your sys- tem. Replace the fuse. (Make sure it is
tight.)

9 Fan faulty Replace the fan motor. Dealer
The fan does turn but
the heater does not
emit heat.
10 Voltage too low Check the electrical con- nections. Dealer
11 One fuse is faulty in your system. Replace the fuse. (Make sure it is
tight.) User
12 Cable of the extension cable faulty. Heater
functions on 2 phases.
Repair the connection of the
system. User
The fan turns as nor-
mal but there is little
heat, 50%. 13 One fuse is faulty in your system. Replace the fuse. (Make sure it is
tight.) User
14 Cable of the extension cable faulty. Repair the connection. User
15 Heater functions on 2 phases. Repair the connection. User
16 One loose or burnt cable in the
connector/female connector or extension
cable.
