Additional

configuration

Your Smart-Vue module offers many features that are controlled by your
Smart-Vue Server/Smart-Vue Client software. Use the software to define
settings for measurement period, frequency of data transmission, alarm
limits for sending alerts via phone, fax, e-mail and SMS, sensor
calibration/correction parameters, archiving and more. Enter your login
name and password when prompted.

You may download sensor correction/calibration parameters directly over
the Internet if your purchase included calibration services. Please see the

Thermo Scientific Smart-Vue Software User Manual

 for more details.

Setting basic sensor parameters

1. Access end-point module settings by pressing F11 or selecting

Settings ==> Sensor settings (

) on the Smart-Vue Client main

screen.

2. Choose a sensor in the left-hand panel, and adjust the specific

settings (Sensor Settings tab). You should do this for all sensors in
your system.

3. Click on the plus sign(

+)

next to the Unit field to assign your own

specific unit values to the measured current values. For example, for
a device output of -100°C to +200°C the 4mA value would equal
-100 and the 20mA value would equal +200°C. Remember to insert
the negative symbol, if applicable. Click on OK.

Click on dials

(dots) or

double-click
