Removing the Rotor
To remove the rotor, proceed as follows:
1. Open the centrifuge lid.
2. Grab the rotor handle with both hands and press against the green AutoLock
TM
key. At the same
time, pull the rotor directly upwards with both hands and remove it from the centrifuge spindle.
Make sure not to tilt the rotor while doing this.
Aerosol-tight Rotors
When using an aerosol tight lid the rotor can only be removed with the lid closed. This is to protect
you and the samples.

CAUTION
Rotors supplied with a lid for aerosol-tight applications come with a mandrill, which
belongs to the AutoLock
TM
. Be sure not to place the lid onto this mandrill to prevent it from being
damaged.
WARNING
Mind the AutoLock
TM
-mandrill inside the lid. Do not touch the mandrill.
