Connecting the MALDI LTQ XL System Forepumps to Line Power
The MALDI LTQ XL system uses two forepumps.The primary forepump provides vacuum to
the LTQ XL MS detector. The secondary forepump provides vacuum to the MALDI sample
module.
As
shows, you connect the primary forepump to the power entry panel of the
LTQ XL MS detector and the secondary forepump to the MALDI control module.
